Lisa Alderman brings more than 30 years of leadership experience including nonprofit and corporate, to her role as the Foundation's first Executive Director. A lifelong Virginian, she has built philanthropy across the arts, education, libraries, first responders, and human services — including leading development at Barter Theatre, where annual giving quadrupled to over $1.2 million, and directing the Educational Foundation at Wytheville Community College. "To be part of founding this important resource in Wythe and Bland Counties, where my husband and I call home, is an honor," Alderman says.
